Architect :
Responsibilities include:

- Develop planning studies, designs and graphic presentations

10 -15 years of related experience, a professional degree in Architecture and a proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Knowledge of SketchUp, VIZ or other 3-D rendering programs, and Revit a plus. Prior experience working in Health Care, Science & Technology and/or Academic architecture is preferred. Demonstrated effectiveness working in a team setting and communicating with others is required.
Mechanical Engineer :
Responsibilities include:
- Design leadership for large complex projects with responsibility for coordination and quality reviews of mechanical staff work.
- Possess strong communication skills for fostering business relationships, working with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors and others.
- Proven leadership, supervisory, and technical capabilities
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 10 to 15 years of related experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Strong background working with laboratory, technology and healthcare facilities preferred.
Electrical Engineer :
Responsibilities include:
- Apply engineering fundamentals for power, lighting and auxiliary electrical systems design
- Select procedures in design and develop and document designs in response to an evaluation of the unique needs and constraints of a particular project or system
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary functions on complex projects
- Coordinate and review the work of designers, and CAD Operators assigned to the project.
Minimum 10 years of related design and CAD experience preferred. Must be competent in design and documentation of power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm, security, audio/visual and telecommunications systems.
Structural Engineer :
Minimum 5-10 years of experience with knowledge of CAD and design simulation software
Responsibilities include:
- Design and calculation of structural works as per ACI standards.
Cad Drafter :
The primary responsibility of the CAD Drafter will be to assist the engineering effort on projects. The successful candidate will be familiar with the design of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical Systems. Must have an Associates Degree and 2 years of CAD experience and be proficient in AUTOCAD 2007 or higher and Microsoft Office.
Administrative assistant :
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting one of our architectural studios and its Studio Leader(s)
- Maintaining the Studio Calendar
- Meeting setup and coordination, including scheduling, reserving conference rooms, conference room set-up and lunch ordering
- Assisting with new hire orientations
- Organizing social events
- Maintaining general office
- Assisting with faxing, copying, and data entry
- Maintaining records and files, including set up of record binders, project files, project archiving and document filing
- Typing meeting notes and assisting with Construction Administration by logging and processing submittals
- Assisting with project research
- Sending out packages and arranging for messenger service
- Making travel and lodging arrangements
- Completing expense reports as needed
- May respond to client needs when Studio Leader is not available
- Maintaining mailing and phone lists
- Assisting the administrative team with general office duties as needed
- Covering reception duties during lunch and breaks on a rotating basis
- Other duties as assigned by Studio Leader or Office Manager
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel. 1-3 years of professional administrative support experience. Some college preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to represent ExpertDesigns to clients. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact well with all levels of staff. A self-starter that is resourceful and detail oriented. Ability to set priorities, multitask and work independently and collaboratively. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Experience with Architecture firms or knowledge of the industry a plus. |
